Incarcerated former PRISON BREAK star LANE GARRISON has been moved to a maximum security prison, so he can study behind bars.

The 28-year-old actor was sentenced to serve 40 months behind bars after pleading guilty to a drink driving charge in October (07). Garrison crashed his car while drunk and the accident left a 17-year-old passenger dead.

The actor, who is eligible for parole in February 2009, has been moved from Donovan Correctional Facility in San Diego, California to the state's Corcoran prison.

And friends say he is making the move voluntarily, because he can study for a political science degree at the tougher facility.

A source tells Star magazine, "Lane never had the chance to go to college. So he's using his time behind bars to earn a degree."

Good morning!

Good evening/early morning,
I am so proud to bring on board to the LG101 staff, Frederica, who is a self-acclaimed Master Teacher. Over the course of the next few days you'll hopefully be able to learn more about our new staff member and associate yourself with all that gets her on track to be with the rest of the LG101 staff.

To the right you will notice that there are new additions to the menu. Yep, there is music and books which we recommend for you as they are close to us currently. Feel free to go to Amazon and pick up a cd or the book and if you are unsure, read the reviews.

Also we have modified the menu as well to bring out alot of what we have to offer here. Some people like pictures more than links, so we are trying it that way.

I want to personally thank Frederica for coming on board and for her great input on topics such as we have added and we invite you to keep this website bookmarked to Lane Garrison 101 for all your latest news and information, fun and updated offerings around the clock!!

Good evening everyone,
Just a quick update that I learned this evening that Lane received the letters, postcards, and birthday cards that we sent to him for his birthday earlier last month! The previous prison forwarded the letters so it was only a week late and so he has expressed his great appreciation and thanks for them.

Thanks again to all who contributed to make that Birthday Project possible!!

Hello to the LG Faithful!!

I hope you are well... It's been quiet on the Lanefront lately as the only update I have is that out of all the letters I sent asking for people's support of the Lane Project, I have received 2 rejected ones because of a wrong address and one of the actors' are under different representation.. Try try again I will!

Also, I did some cafe shopping (yes out of my own store!) lately and am looking forward to my lil member gathering in Los Angeles in August. Given my new rule of any money which is out of profit in the LG101 Cafe will go to help Lane and his family, I saw that there was a tad income from the WM101 shop in the amount of $7 so I will combine both shops to give towards this project.

Usually how it works is any profits go to help support the running of the site, but with Lane's dire needs needing to be met, I wish to help him more than myself. And I hope you will agree!

I added new images lately to the shop so please be sure to check it out!
