.:.  LANE TRIVIA

[1] Lane began writing up stories at the age of 19

[2] His first screenplay was optioned just shortly thereafter

[3] "Succubus," Lane's current writing project is out in limbo between the production companies, Sony and MGM.  Sony took over MGM which currently makes the project up in the air and unspoken for.

[4]  According to Lane, the song that would suit his character (in Prison Break, Tweener) would be Eminem's "Lose Yourself."

[5]  His co-writing effort, Quality of Life, earned a Special Mention at the Berlin International Film Festival and Best Youth Film at the Stockholm International Film Festival before even being released for public viewing

[6]  Growing up, the background that his character in Prison Break has (run in with the law) Lane can share with.  Whether it was stealing cars or just trying to make sense of his life, Lane lived it.

[7] The last time he was turned into the police, his mom had turned him in!  He said he never stole again after that.

[8] He sees Muse Watson (former cast member on Prison Break) as his mentor, sharing in his struggles, being able to talk to someone openly and who's been "there" even if it's just by being empathetic to what he has to say.

[9] Lane's film Quality of Life gets its name from the "law adopted in most major cities that equates graffiti with robbery and rape and brings with it serious jail time." link

[10] In the episode "Three" in which Lane played Craig Borten in the show Night Stalker:  "Lane was in bed with a real 16-ft. Burmese python. While at first Lane seemed understandably uncomfortable having a giant snake wrapped around his body, within a few minutes he was gamely wrapping the snake around his own throat and pushing its head toward his own face to make it look like it was slowly crushing him to death". link

[11] Silas Weir Mitchell was in Crazy as well as Lane - Silas is now costarring with Lane in Prison Break as "Haywire."

[12] Before Jessica Simpson was a pop star, Lane was living for a while with her and her family when he was still in trouble with the law.

[13] Filmed his episodes for the second season of Prison Break, the cast and crew are in Dallas, Texas - literally home for Lane!=
