Heavenly Father, I do not know Amelia personally, but I can only try to understand her pain during such an emotional and tramatic time. Watching your brother, who has been your parent for as long as you can remember, go from one prison to another, farther and farther from you, has to be heart-wrenching and very difficult for her. God I pray for her as she takes each day as they come, with the strength of a new day holding her up and moving her forward.

Lord I ask that you protect her from the outside influences which will break her down and I ask Lord that with your mercy and grace, Amelia may feel the overwhelming warmth of your love and light when she can only see one obstacle after another.

Please hold her close to you, as you always have and always will do, knowing that she is without a brother now, but please remind her a Father she'll never be without.

Thank you Lord for bringing her this far, for giving her a job and a home and a place to stay where she's safe and closer to her brother than she had been in the past. I pray God that Your will be done. Both now and forever.

May what is lost, be found. What is far, be close. May the pain fall and may strength withhold.
